Campus Alive

Missions Ministry

Page updated on 22nd July 2009

Campus Alive’s calling for this year is to raise up a generation of faith and love who will reach out through missions, in the hope of a revival which will impact the nation and beyond, regardless of race. And the answer to this calling is missions ministry.

Missions ministry is a new ministry in CA which is started off this year, in response to CA’s vision. With much prayer, faith and by God’s grace, we believe that through this ministry there will be a large harvest for souls, as more and more people are added into the kingdom of God. But the question is, will there be enough labourers for the harvest? (Luke 10:2)

And missions is just as simple as this: To proclaim the name of Jesus to our non-believer friends, by the power of the Holy Spirit, through prayer and with boldness. To be salt and light of the world, witnessing Him in our words and deeds.

Not only missions is God’s heartbeat, but it is also our life goal, our calling, just as Jesus commanded us to “go into the world and make disciples of all nations.” (Matthew 28:19-20) And God’s grace is always sufficient for us, as He had promised us that “you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witness in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)

There are four different areas in missions which you can get involved in: evangelism, prayer, training and equipping, follow up. Come and serve God with the talents and abilities He has given you.

Programs coming up include missions training, pot bless in CGs, registration day challenge, junior MMS, house visitation and Youth Alpha. For more information, you’re welcome to come and find any of us Campus Alive Committee members, or you could just e-mail us for more information at:

So, why wait? Let’s start a RIOTReaching In and Out Together.

Love, Li Sia.

P/S: One of the ways we’re reaching out to new believers, non-believers, free thinkers, agnostics, and everyone else, is by Youth Alpha! For more information about Youth Alpha, and what you can do to help us as well, please do read this post, and contact us!
