Cell Group

Contrary to popular belief, we do not eat people up during cell group meetings.

Getting back to serious business, the casual and unsuspecting reader would ask, what is this page for? And the writer would supply the answer: To encourage all students who regularly, or occasionally go to CA meetings to participate, and come to Cell Group meetings.

–

Cell group (a.k.a. “CG) is a place where we bond and spend memorable times together as a family. In CG, brothers and sisters encourage one another, keep their faith and passion for Christ burning alive and also grow in their personal walk with Jesus.

In fact, CG is NOT just a place for CHRISTIANS with serious Bible studies and prayers. Whoever you are, you are always welcomed. =)

In CG, there is lots of fun where we play games, get to know each other, and not forgetting yummy refreshments for the empty stomachs! After a hectic, busy and tense week with never-ending assignments and tests around the corner, CG is where you can energize and refresh yourself! Held on alternate Thursdays, CG is always full of warmth and love, joy and laughter.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’  There is no commandment greater than these. – Mark 12:30-31

All CG meetings are held in the respective hostels. For Cendana guys, Philip is the CG leader, and for more information, please refer to him.

Akasia girls, and Cemara girls as well, CG leader is Grace. For more information please refer to her.

Occasionally, the boys and girls do meet up together for a combined CG meeting. It is always awesome when we do. Other times, we have special activities that include a whole lot of fun and excitement.

We do know that many are afraid to go to CG meetings due to the fear that they don’t know what’s going on, who are the people involved, and yeah, afraid it’ll be a time waster. But we remember God’s faithfulness and goodness, because ultimately, we’re giving Him glory when we serve him.

And so, everyone is greatly encouraged to come for CG. It will be a fantastic time growing together with the Lord, and each other.
